Do I need any experience to enroll?
No experience is needed. Our program is designed for complete beginners. We teach you everything from the ground up, step by step.

How long does the program take?
You can graduate in as little as 4 months, depending on your chosen payment plan and pace. We also offer an 8-month option for those who prefer a more flexible schedule.

Is this a certified program?
Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Doggie Doos Grooming Training as well as a Certificate of Completion for Canine First Aid

What will I actually learn?
You’ll learn real, hands-on grooming skills including:

Bathing and drying techniques
Canine First Aid

Every single thing you need to know. We don't Skimp because your reputation reflects on us!

Is this course easy?

No, quite the opposite. The course is hard because learning to groom dogs is not easy. We will put you in every scenario you need to be in, to be the best groomer you can be. The Director is strict, because to her, y our success and reputation goes back to her and how well she taught you! If you are looking for a Certificate in a week or by watching a few videos, this course is not for you!

Is this hands-on training or just videos?
This is hands-on training, not just watching videos. You will be actively learning real grooming skills you can use immediately.

What dogs will I practice on?

That's a great question. We have several options with regards to the practice dogs, which we will go over and determine during the enrollment process. But don't fret, you will have LOTS of hands on practice as that is the most imporant part about Dog Grooming

Will I get support during the program?
Yes. You will receive guidance and support from an experienced instructor with over 42 years in the grooming industry and it doesn't end when you graduate!

How much does the program cost?
We offer flexible options:

Pay in Full: $3,495 (Graduate in 4 months)

In-House 4 Plan: $1,400 down + 4 payments of $700

In-House 8 Plan: $1,400 down + 8 payments of $350

Career Opportunities

Will I be able to get a job after completing the program?
Our goal is to help you become job-ready with real skills. Many students go on to work in grooming salons or start their own grooming businesses. There is a shortage of professional groomers and this is a completely AI Proof Profession

Can I start my own grooming business after this?
Yes. Many of our students choose to work for themselves after completing the program. In our course there is an entire module on just that, how to start and run a successful dog grooming business.

Scheduling & Flexibility

Can I work while taking this program?
Yes. Many students complete the program while working a job. The structure is designed to be flexible and at your own pace!

How much time do I need to commit?
This depends on your pace, but consistency is key. Students who stay committed typically complete faster.

How do I get started?
Click the “Request Information and fill out the form and we will contact you via your preferred method. There is no obligation to take the course, to talk to us or get more information! Dog Grooming is not for everyone and wouldn't it be nice to know that before you pay your tuition!?” You will decide if this is something you want to pursue and if so, you will fill out an application and we will start the enrollment process.

How long does the enrollment process take?
Generally 2-4 days, but if there is a class starting you want to be in, we can fast track the process for you and get you started on your dog grooming journey!
